Description:
This beautiful park is a great spot for nature lovers. Aside from being a perfect stop for an afternoon picnic or as part of a walking tour, Swope also features a challenging 18-hole disc (as in "Frisbee") golf course. A visit to beautiful Starlight Theatre (an impressive amphitheater that hosts musical and fine arts performances throughout the year) is a must. Swope Park is also home to the Kansas City Zoological Park and an IMAX theater.
